I can't believe the negative reviews I've been reading. I've been here when it was Niko's and four times since they've changed the name. The food is delicious. The only thing I can honestly say I don't like is you can only get their house dressing for salad. I've had shrimp and grits, chicken sandwich and the last two times the salmon Florentine. My friends haven't had a bad experience either. The serving staff is kind, polite and always attentive. I truly hope more people will at least try Breeze 19.

This is my second visit to this place. The first time, the food was good. Second time: July 12, 2019 came to see the Black Honkeys. The place was completely full. The service was very slow. The food was not good. Two people in my party didn't get what they ordered. I could not eat my food, after they brought it out twice.
I went up to the kitchen station and spoke to a manager and she was supposed to come back to my table to follow up and she never did.
We will not eat here again. The live music is good, but eat someplace else first. -

I don't know if I can actually articulate how bad this experience was. We had been going to Niko's for about a year, and while it was in no way perfect, this new ownership has taken this place from pretty ok to I'm never going back again.
I ordered the ribeye special, medium rare, with a loaded baked potato. My wife ordered the seafood platter. It took 40 minutes to arrive and my steak was rare to raw. My baked potato was cold and undercooked. My wife's platter was completely over cooked. In addition, the contents didn't match the menu description and actually looked like it was frozen and pre-breaded. Captain D's would have been far superior and much cheaper.
Other tables around us fared no better. One table had waited an hour and ten minutes to get their food and it was improperly cooked. On another table, the patron had to pick up his plate and go find someone because his server never came back to the table. I honestly can't blame her for hiding. It was apparent from all the servers they were embarrassed about the food and cook times.
On the way out, I had the opportunity to speak to either the managers/owners (not sure) and they asked me about my experience. I told them everything above and was asked to give them another chance as it was the grand opening and they had a private party of thirty in another room. I told them that may be an excuse for the wait times, but not for the quality of the food.
These people have owned the restaurant for MONTHS. It's not like it was their first night. I know they named the place Breeze 19, but if this is what you can expect from them they probably should have named it "Soon To Be Out Of Business". -

This was a disappointment. Expecting something new in replacement of Niko's. The entrance is bland. Nothing gets you excited about being there. The dining room is uninviting. Same old tables and chairs and dirty rug. Tables have salt & pepper on them and nothing else. It's dingy at best.
The menu is boring. Same items you can find in any run of the mill restaurant. Stale rolls, Luke warm baked sweet potato. Many items seem very expensive such as crab cakes. For $22 you get 2 crab cakes and a salad. I will admit that the broiled seafood mixed grill was well cooked. Shrimp and scallops we're especially good and scrod was good for me but was a little underdone for my table mate.
Waitress was fine. Friendly and checked in with us to see if everything was ok. Brought bill but made no offer to suggest dessert. Maybe they don't have them since there were no desserts on the menu or table tents on the table.
I'm really amazed that the people who purchased Nico's took 6 months or more to convert to Breeze 19 and the result is meh. -

LOL this place is no breeze. I don't like that you can't change stuff on the menu according to your dietary needs. Really?? Prices are way high. Food is probably frozen and not house made. Just by looking at the pictures here you can tell how this place is going to be. The food looks like it came out of a box In the freezer section at Winn-Dixie.
Won't be back
